Yes, BHO HAS done a lot in 9 months - he signed a stimulus bill with almost 1000 lines of pork in it - such notable country saving things like a "Bridge for Turtles".
Not sure how they intend to force them to use it (there atta be a law!).
And whydo we need it? Are they Ninja Terrorist Turtles?
What happened to the promise "not one single line of pork in ANY bill will be signed into law" ?
But he has done a TON of things!
He bowed to a Saudi king, insulted GB, ticked off France and Germany, scared China from buying our debt with his economic policies, more than doubled the tax on cigarettes (that mostly poor people use), sucked up to Chavez, and other mass murdering dictators, has had more TV appearances than he has had days in office, TRIPLED the deficit he 'inherited' (as if Bush's record wasnt shameful enough), he brought tax cheats, and admitted marxists/socialists/communists into the White House to run PRIVATE corporations, ignored his General in Afghan for about 2 months, flew not one, but TWO jets to Copenhagen at tax payer expesne, to get Olympics in Chicago (which would cost millions to taxpayers – Thank God he failed!), Ditched the Dalai Lama in favor of Juntao .............. I could go on and on.
But yes - he has been one busssssssy busy man.
Wonder if he has seen his office yet? I have heard it is quite nice - he should check it out!
Neither Republican, Democrat, nor Libertarian - hate all the rat politicians.Mid 50's male. Fought, marched, and was beat up defending equality, and protesting racism. Wanted to help "change the world" but failed. Still believe in the dream of a strong, vital, moral America. Where have all the leaders gone ?
Great Presidents – where are they?
I have been thinking about our Presidents. It isn’t pretty.
The last 4 have been ….. at best mediocre – in my lifetime, only Ike strikes me as a true great – Reagan maybe, tho I am not sure how much was him and how much was his cabinet/advisors. I need to research him more, but I do know he at least espoused basic Adam Smith Economics – and it WORKED!
One man that I greatly respect, mentioned Nixon and his advancements in China. But holy cow – that was ALL Kissinger – Nixon just said ‘OK’ (as he did to many things – e.g. Watergate break-in).
JFK really did very little in his time (except Marilyn) – MAYBE would have been great in time, but the obvious ties to mafia, unions etc leaves me in doubt.
Before that you have to go a long way to find anyone that promoted the Constitution, free market, etc,.
It was not Lincoln. PLEASE don’t tell me about the Civil War and slavery – that was NOT what it was about – it was about the transfer of wealth from the South to the North – for GAWDS sake do some research. Slavery was the motivating factor to get the NORTH to fight – what the south Seceded for, was States Rights (remember we are a republic – NOT a Democracy).
After that – sheesh – I am lost.
I do know from research and study, that from Lincoln (at least) on we have been on a path of socialistic methods in our country, Obama is the pinnacle of that trend.
He IS at the high point of establishing socialistic/Marxist/communistic policies.
He said – “look at the people I surround myself with” – wow. At least 5 of his 36+ - ‘Special Advisors” are Tax cheats; one an avowed Communist; more then one is admitted socialist; one declares that the Gov’mt has the right to tell you haw many children to have (including mandatory sterilization and forced abortion); some admire people like Hugo Chavez, Che Guevara, Noriega, Castro, Lenin, and Marx.
Why on earth are people with these philosophies advising the President of the United States?
Please listen, I am NOT saying that Obama is bad and what was before is good – I am saying that this has been coming for over 100 years – he (Obama) is just the latest in the liars, cheats, and socialist reforming dip-sticks.
